Celebrate Waitangi Day In Wellington By Heading To Masterton’s Biggest Music Festival • Waifest 2021

A day of great music.

Waitangi Day is nearly upon us, and this one is extra special. February 6, 2021 marks the 180th year since the signing of the treaty of Waitangi. [Featured Image: Natalia Ramirez Roman, Shutterstock].

So, we all know what that means: it’s time to celebrate the national day of New Zealand extra hard.

Over at Queen Elizabeth park, you can do just that. Waifest is Masterton’s largest music festival, and the day of New Zealand sees the likes of Lion Rezz, Israel Starr, Sianne and Friends (Sianne Dougherty) and Majic Paora performing to the crowds.

There will even be a very special guest performing on the day which is all the more reason to get down there for the celebrations.
