Sydney and Darwin to be the first cities to welcome back Kiwis for travel.
The idea for a ”trans-Tasman bubble” that would allow Australians and New Zealanders to fly between the two countries without the need to quarantine was first floated way back in April of this year.
Today, however, we have learned that we will be free to fly into New South Wales and the Northern Territory from as early as October 16 thanks to the Australian federal government lifting the restrictions for New Zealanders only. So, you can start preparing for travels very soon!
There is still no news as to when Australians will be able to fly across the ditch it is thought that is could be introduced before Christmas.
In the meantime, why not ease your worries and start planning your next holiday. QT Hotels and Resorts all across Australia and New Zealand are offering pay now, stay later deals valid for up to the end of October 2021. Hurry, because their sale ends on October 7.
