7. Shadow And Bone
Game Of Thrones fans will adore this Netflix fantasy series. Based on the Grishaverse novels by Leigh Bardugo, the storyline follows a powerful young witch, Alina played by Jessie Mei Li, who is sought after because she reveals magical powers that may unite the world from darkness. 8. You Season 3
This American psychological thriller first hit screens back in 2018. Expect ex New York bookstore manager, Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley), running from his murderous past, living in a Californian suburb with his new wife, Love (Victoria Pedretti) and newborn son. For the Horror fans, this new mysterious series follows Riley Flynn (Zach Gilford), who is haunted by a past drunk driving accident. After returning to his hometown of Crockett Island, he struggles to find his life’s purposes. This series will have you believing in the horrors of heaven and hell, with a mix of religion, addiction and all sorts of ghoulish creatures. It’s a nope from me. But, if this is your sort of thing, you’ll absolutely love it.
11. The Serpent
This surreal series is based on true events that took place in the 1970s along the hippie trail in South East Asia. Charles Sobhraj was a master murderer and con artist who posed as a gem dealer, committed an array of crimes, and preyed on innocent travellers, along with the help of his girlfriend and sidekick. Tahar Rahim gives a breathtaking performance as Charles, who is eventually brought to justice.
12. Outer Banks 2
When season one hit our screens in 2020, we just couldn’t get enough. This series follows a group of teens in Outer Banks in North Carolina, who uncover secrets along with hidden gold in their hometown, which leads to devastating consequences. In Season two, you’ll find John B (Chase Stokes) and Sarah (Madelyn Cline) hiding out in the Bahamas with everyone at home believing they are dead. We don’t want to spoil much more, so go watch this unbeatable series.
