Concord Restaurant is the latest addition to the food scene in Wellington. Opened by well-known hospitality venturists, Sean Golding and Shepherd Elliot…it’s taken the capital by storm.
Elliot is renowned for endeavors like one of the best bakeries in Wellington, Leeds Street Bakery. While, Golding owns Golding’s Free Dive specialising in craft beer. Likewise, they own eateries like Shepherd Restaurant and Donnie Taco Food Truck together.
Concord is inspired by 20th century European bistros housed at the former famous Lido café. With a beautiful interior featuring red and blues paired with velvet and wooden furniture, an elegant bar and the preservation of historic architecture…you’ll feel as if you’re dining in Europe.
Expect plenty of continental dishes paired with exquisite wines in a cosy setting. Wonderfully, diners can indulge on a range of seasonally cooked lunches or dinners. Gorge on exclusive Oysters ($26-50) and Shrimp Cocktail ($23), or else opt for something a little more casual like a Cheeseburger with Bottomless French Fries ($28).
