A range of sensational international stars are set to play shows right here in Wellington this year. Indeed, it’s no Auckland with the likes of the return of the Backstreet Boys and Harry Styles making appearances. However, there are some fantastic international concerts and stars coming to Wellington.
1. Ed Sheeran
One of the world’s greatest popstars, British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran returns to New Zealand after a five year break. Sheeran plays his Mathematics Tour in Wellington on January 24, 25 and 26 at The Opera House. And then he will return to play Sky Stadium on February 1 and 2. Read all about it here.

2. Lorde
One of New Zealandās very own international stars Lorde will play at Days Bay on February 21 and 22. Her Solar Power Tour was postponed to early 2023 due to COVID-19. Expect to sing along to all the classics like Leader Of A New Regime, Fallen Fruit, California and plenty more.

3. One Republic
On March 18, this American pop-rock group will take to the stage at TSB Arena, alongside their special guest, Masked Wolf. Sing and dance as the band play some of their most memorable hits since their formation in 2002. From I Lived, to Good Life and Counting Stars…you’ll be in your element.

4. The 1975
Get ready for this famous English rock band to bring their bounce to Wellington for the first time on April 19. Formed in 2002, the group has gone on to impress music lovers globally, and are expected to perform a host of new tracks such as Being Funny In A Foreign Language, as well as all your old favourites like Happiness and Iām In Love With You, to name a few.

5. The Magical Music Of Harry Potter
This unique music and film experience will feature soloists, original actors, a choir and a symphony orchestra to bring the magical world of Harry Potter to life through ambient sounds. 6. Lewis Capaldi
Another iconic singer from the United Kingdom will take Wellington by storm on July 19. The 26-year-old Scottish musician will play for the first time since 2020 in New Zealand as part of his Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent Tour. Expect plenty of Platinum-selling and Grammy-nominated tunes, alongside some new hits from his recent album.
