A mouth-watering festival is on its way to the capital.
Sometimes, all that will do is a huge portion of fried chicken and chips. It’s the guilty, or not-so-guilty, pleasure for so many, so this will pique the interest of meat-eaters far and wide. [Featured Image: HONG FENG, Unsplash].
Wellington’s first festival dedicated entirely to fried chicken is coming on February 27, 2021. This is a monumental occasion.
It takes over Frank Kitts Park for two sessions, and plays host to the finest Wellington fried chicken food stalls going. Plus, some of the best breweries and wineries are serving up their great beverages. Chicken, beers and hopefully some sun… could you even think of a better day out?
And, to make that even better, live music is on hand to keep the good vibes flowing and the festival’s guests entertained.
Tickets cost $10, and all food and drinks at the event cost less than $10. Session one lasts from 11am-3pm, with session two at 4-8pm. Free water will also be available throughout the event.
