Halloween time, baby!
2020 has been a rotten year, so what better time play pretend and dress up? [Featured Image: Valeria Almaraz, Unsplash].
And, the Día de los Muertos celeration on Leeds street is the perfect spot to do just that. Thankfully, it’s returning for its annual edition in Wellington.
It all kicks off this Saturday, October 31 at 2pm. That’ll be the time where you throw on your costume, grab a drink and take to the streets to have fun for this spooky occasion.
2020 celebrates the Wellington fiesta’s seventh edition, where everyone boogies Mexico-style with their family in celebration. As usual, it’s put together by Golding’s Free Dive, Garage Project and Hannah’s Laneway.
Guests can look forward to live music from Carlos Navae to have a dance to, an all new ice cream from Wellington Chocolate Factory and Duck Island plus a Día De Los Muertos themed beer from Garage Project.
Plus, in the true Day Of The Dead spirit, there will be heavy supplies of margaritas and all the face-painting to go around.
Find out more information over at the fiesta’s Facebook event.
